Volunteer in Puerto Vallarta with Children, Animals, Seniors & in Nature!

The Los Horcones Music Festival was created to bring awareness around the importance of the Horcones river, and the negative impact of the illegal deforestation and plans to build a dam. We have been working to have the Rio Los Horcones declared a Natural Protected Area by the Mexican government. Any donations received above the amount needed for production costs will go to the river nonprofit Defensores De Boca who are organizing the legal work.

On August 28th, 2021, Puerto Vallarta was affected by Hurricane Nora. Damages from the flash flooding of the Rio Cuale and the Pitillal River amount to over 200 million pesos. The Governor of Jalisco has declared Puerto Vallarta in a state of emergency while communities, military and the heroes of Vallarta work to clean the city, repair the damages and help the families in need.

My first international trip was as exhilarating as it was intimidating. I went on a journey of self discovery & came home with a mission to make a difference.
