Dez Kjolseth (known as Dez) is an American entrepreneur, long-term Mexico City resident, and the founder of My Deztination — a full-service Mexico relocation and concierge company established in 2020.
Dez has lived in Mexico for over a decade, originally settling in Puerto Vallarta before relocating to Mexico City in 2025. Her background spans wildlife conservation, eco-tourism, veterinary training, and digital entrepreneurship — a path that took her from the University of Hawaii to volunteering at the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand before landing in Mexico, where she built one of the country's most recognised expat relocation services.
